I went into photography class, thinking that the class was all digital, and was going to be very easy. Until the teacher introduced the film camera, and told us we weren’t able to see our photos until after they were developed. Photography was a struggle for me in the beginning, until I finally got the hang of it. I find photography very interesting, and I feel as if its a place that captures your memories. Besides your memory, photography is the one thing that allow to you recreate the past.

I am inspired by my Uncle Anthony when it comes to photography. All my life, my uncle has been using the same Nikon camera, capturing all of my families memories and adventures. His camera captured all of the memories my family has had from Costa Rica, Caribbean, all the way to Canada I lovebright, and interesting colors in photography. My favorite thing to photograph is silhouettes, I love when there is a contrast between bright colors and black. In life you can always improve on your skills, I personally feel that I can improve on mine. One thing I struggle with in photography is focusing on the film camera, after looking at a majority of my photos throughout the year, I have noticed that they are very blurry. I hope to use the skills from my photography class for the future, and continue on this path.
